Kalispell - OSHA 10 General

The free two-day OSHA 10-Hour General Industry Course teaches workers how to identify, abate, avoid, and prevent job-related hazards. It will include the rights and responsibilities of the employer and the worker. After training is completed, students will receive a course completion card from OSHA. The card is for employers, workers, and students who want to increase their qualifications to work. Registration is required, class size limited. 

Dates/Times: Tuesday, July 26th 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM &                                                               

                        Wednesday, July 27th 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Location:        Job Service Kalispell, 427 1st Ave East, Kalispell

Cost:               No cost to attend & for the OSHA card

Active participation in and completion of this course may give individuals an advantage when applying for jobs. Some employers, unions, and other jurisdictions now require workers to have this training to work on job sites and help fulfill their safety training goals.

NOTE: Students must be present for all 10 hours to receive an OSHA card.

 Presenter: David Sheldon is an authorized OSHA Trainer with the Department of Labor & Industry Safety & Health Bureau. He was employed with Stillwater Mining for over ten years and has been a district manager for large warehouses throughout the United States. David has an Associates of Science degree in criminal justice.

 Advanced registration is required.
